[Speaking] Talk about Raising Plants at Home
I happened to receive a small potted plant as a gift. That’s how I first started raising a plant. I had no prior experience, so I was worried that it might die. But I was spending a lot of time at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, so it seemed like a good idea to have a plant at home.
Thankfully, the plant I received was not a high–maintenance plant. It just had to get plenty of sun, and I had to water it regularly. But something felt amiss with just one plant, so I went to a flower shop and bought a few more.
Each weekend, as I wiped down the leaves and saw how green they were, I felt at ease. Then one day, I was held spellbound when I saw new buds emerging. Watching the small potted plants grow, I get a sense of gratification. I can`t put my finger on it, but it`s almost like raising children.
